Welcome to the Piano Pictures pages. For those of you who have visited our house, you will remember that we have a piano in our living room. Unfortunately it is seldom played as it appears that the family is not very musically inclined. I was given it on my 12th birthday when I was still being forced to learn....oh why didn't I listen to my parents!! Anyway, the piano is used to display my favourite family pictures and I look at that fondly when I am home from my many trips abroad. Here I share them with you.

This is my stepfather (Picture taken at Henley Regatta in about 1985), Hilary Hugh Bickford Smith, he raised me from the age of 6 and was always my real father. Three years ago he had a fifth stroke which has made it difficult for him to communicate and remember things. He spent most of his life in London and swore he would never leave there. We had to move him and now he lives in a home, with 24 hour care, close to my sister Joanna in North Yorkshire. He is happy and content with life and makes frequent visits to Millinder House.

Beside him is my mother Anne Hazel Margaret Bickford Smith (Nee Patten Thomas) who died 17th September 1975. Picture taken January 1942.

All of us Anderson boys were raised at one time or another by Poppas and Mum. Joanna had to put up with us most of our lives, though I am sure she remembers little about Buster.
